At the end of this month I will be attending the National Orientation Directors Association conference in Anaheim, CA. I will be missing some class and that sucks big time because basically it will mean a lot of make-up work will need to be done. And convincing the professors that I’m not a slacker. About $225.
At the end of March I will be attending National Student Nurses’ Association national convention in Grapevine, TX. I’m a little nervous because I’ve never been to Texas before. I don’t really know what to expect. But I think it should be interesting to see how the process works for becoming a state/national rep for CNSA. About $550.
In the beginning of April I am going on a cruise to Mexico with some nursing classmates, Mike, and a couple other friends. It’s a five day cruise and we’ll be having “excursions” in Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas. I’m really excited because it will be my first spring break where I actually do something out of the ordinary, however… more money. About $550.
I applied for a bunch of scholarships. Let’s hope I get some $$$.

Well I am just a little disappointed that bringing Mike out to the glorious Utah didn’t make the list at all. I mean I know it isn’t necessarily “out of the ordinary” for you, but it will be the first time for Mike to hit up the arches, and btw Ike already has said that he wants you and Mike to carry him the whole way up and down the delicate arch hike, that will be fun ehe?
It sounds like you have lots of fun stuff planned. The most exciting thing going on for me is a sales tax seminar on April 14th at some local hotel, I am sure you are green with envy. Anyway good on ya for doing all that extra stuff, it is bound to help you out somewhere along the way.

It didn’t make the list because I’m not paying for that haha. I actually did think about putting it on because that will probably cost a pretty penny to fly Mike and me out there but I didn’t want to evoke further pity on myself than necessary.

Oh, plus this is all stuff that’s going on DURING the semester. We’re going out to Utah after this semester is over.
